Will Your VA Doctor Help You? Part 2 | Pinellas County Social Security Disability Lawyer
It is crucial that you present medical evidence about the condition(s) that prevent you from working. This includes medical evidence about your physical and mental capabilities.
All too often VA doctors have refused to complete medical forms and respond to Veteran’s request for information. The VA has now enacted Directive 2007-024, “Provision of Medical Statements and Completion of Forms by VA Health Care Providers. It can be found here or at The Department of Veterans Affairs.
If your VA doctor refuses to cooperate, run a copy of this Directive off and gently remind them of their obligation to comply. For more help regarding this matter contact experienced attorneys Cavey & Barrett.
